A software company, built around one observation.

Walk into a gym in Indore or a physiotherapy clinic in Bhopal and you will find the same two objects doing almost all of the work. There is a register — a hardbound book, or a spreadsheet that behaves like one — holding who is a member, who came in, who paid, and who owes. And there is a phone, which is where every new customer arrives and every existing one asks for something.

Both of them work. That is the part software companies usually get wrong about small businesses: the register is not a mess, it is a system, and the person keeping it is usually better at it than any dashboard would be. The trouble is narrower than that. A register cannot count down a therapy package while nobody is looking at it, cannot notice that a membership lapsed three weeks ago, and cannot send a message the night before an appointment. And a phone cannot ring at twenty to ten and be answered by someone who has gone home.

So we build for both halves. GymConnec8 and ClinicConnec8 replace the register — one for gyms, one for clinics running OPD and therapy together, because those two trades keep different things and pretending otherwise produces software that fits neither. Connec8 Desk answers the phone, in Hindi, English or Hinglish, on the number already painted on the signboard. And Connec8 Plans writes the twelve weeks a gym member asks their trainer for, from the member’s own answers, for that trainer to approve.

Four products is not the point, though. Each one exists because we sat with the trade that needed it until we understood what it writes down and why — and that is the work, not the product. A salon, a coaching class, a workshop, a distributor: the book behind the counter is doing the same job there, no shelf product fits it, and building the one that does is a job we take. It starts the same way each time, with a conversation about what you keep count of.

They are separate products with separate prices, and most customers will only ever want one. But they are built by the same people for the same kind of buyer, which is why the assumptions run through all of them: rupees and GST, WhatsApp rather than email, and the mid-range Android a therapist actually has in their pocket.
